After Westfield acquired Centre point in the year 2001, the mall gained more prominence due to the fact that it had the backing of one of the biggest retail groups known all over UK, New Zealand and Australia and also because of its very central location in the heart of the city. The next one on your list should be the Warringah mall which is the biggest open air centre for shopping and despite its early opening way back in the year 1963, has not expanded much with only about 53 stores functional. However, it is a place that is worth visiting mainly for some of the speciality stores of Target, the cinema complex of Hoyts, the various food courts and other famous names like Grace Bros, Rebel Sport all existing under one roof.

There are nice courtyards and walkways you can enjoy while you are there and this place will give you a flavour of how the northern beaches of Sydney feel. The aura of this mall is something unique and that is why this is a must visit.

This open air cinema is situated near to the Royal Botanic Gardens.  Visitors may have to book in advance for this cinema as there are limited seats.  Also the tickets are pretty expensive, but they are definitely worth it.  There are other great cinemas as well, but the open air cinema should not be missed out.  From this wonderful place, you get to view the panoramic beauty of the Sydney Harbor Bridge, the Sydney skyline and the Sydney Opera house. One can purchase drinks and enjoy the movie at the open air cinema.  You may want to just grab a quick bite when watching the movie.

The other attraction in Sydney is definitely the powerhouse museum.  Lovers of science and technology should not miss out on this.  Every Sydney resident knows about this place and tourists will not find locating this place a problem.  The museum is indeed a treat for the eyes as one gets to see gadgets and technology which one has never viewed before.  This wonderful museum will surely be quite enjoyable not only for the young kids but for adults as well.
